Reflecting on the year of 2021 brings one of my favorite recap blog posts… Looking at which blog posts were ranked the top blog posts of 2021 from throughout the year!
A few years ago, I started the tradition of sharing a top blog post of the year recap, and I love it. The Kara Evans Photographer blog is my online journal of photos & creativity, stories, personal anecdotes, and more. It’s home for me and my business, and it’s an honor that you are here reading the words I’m writing. Thank you for your continued encouragement and for reading my blog week after week, post after post.

#5 – Spring Wedding at Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn, Illinois | Layne + Ricky
It’s here, it’s here – Layne and Ricky’s spring wedding day at Heritage Prairie Farm! We’ve been eagerly anticipating this wedding day since connecting with Layne and Ricky and booking their wedding day on our calendar back in January 2019. In the spring of 2019, we photographed their engagement session and got even more excited for their wedding day! All the fairytale wedding vibes are here with Emily and Milan’s wedding photos! This romantic wedding was a dream with Emily and Milan, and it was an honor to play a part in their day at Providence Vineyard this summer! #3 – May Ruffled Feathers Golf Club Wedding Day in Lemont, Illinois | Taylor + Karl
Oh my goodness, Taylor and Karl’s Ruffled Feathers Golf Club wedding day was one for the books! We adore this couple and are so excited to share more about this couple and their wedding day on the blog! From the bride – Karl and I have been together for over 11 years, yes, high school sweethearts! We grew up in Tinley Park and attended Andrew High School. Beth and Brad’s spring Lake Geneva wedding at the Grand Geneva was one for the books! We adore this couple and were thankful to document their wedding day with both photo and video!! I met these two last fall after another one of our brides, Daniela, connected us. I’m forever thankful for that connection and hit it off with Beth and Brad from the start. #1 – Snowy Winter Wedding Day at The Longbranch in L’Erable, Illinois | Holly + Kolton
Our first wedding of 2021 is in the books! Holly and Kolton’s winter wedding day in Iroquois County kicked off our 2021 wedding season. After wedding changes and pivots, we are just so happy for this couple to officially be part of the married club. It’s been a crazy few months for them but THEY’RE MARRIED despite it all.
