My mom has loved scrapbooking for as long as I can remember. Each year, she carves out days and weekends to dedicate to printing, compiling, and scrapbooking photos of our family’s milestones and memories from throughout the years. My sister and I have scrapbooks from every year since we were born, our weddings, my husband’s military service, each of my niece’s years since birth, and more. As my mom pours her love into these books, she shares her progress and loves to accompany the photos and designs with stories and notes of those memories.
I love connecting to people throughout life’s greatest chapters. Creating photographs that help you look back on your family’s legacy over the years is an incredible honor. Keep scrolling to learn about how I do this with my 'next chapter' sessions.
your wedding was just the first chapter...
Over the years, these scrapbooks have become part of our family’s legacy with these real, tangible photos of our milestones and memories. I want your family to have this experience, too.
“Every session with Kara is truly enjoyable and authentic! I absolutely love how perfectly she captures each milestone and precious memory of our story that I have to look back on.”
“My husband and I first chose Kara to photograph our wedding in 2020. Since then, she has documented our growing family through newborn photos, family sessions, and milestone sessions. Kara is amazing to work with! She is kind, patient and she truly cares about the families she photographs. She is also extremely talented; she delivers beautiful photos quickly every time. We love our sessions with Kara, and we are so thankful we have her as a photographer and a friend!”
I'm Kara, btw. As soon as we meet, you'll learn that I love to talk, and we'll most definitely become friends. It's just what we do around here!
Seriously, my past clients have told me time and time again that they wrap up their session feeling...
• Like they’ve been photographed by a friend
• Comfortable in front of my camera – no matter the occasion
• A genuine connection with their photographer
• Thankful they found a photographer turned friend

“The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Kara to be our photographer. It was only natural to continue doing milestone sessions with her when my daughter was born. Since then we have done fives sessions; both in the studio and outdoors. Kara is the ultimate package! She does an amazing job at coordinating outfits beforehand, fixing hair/outfits the day off, and making you feel confident in front of the camera. She is welcoming and so easy to talk to. Kara has outstanding patience and incredible eye for details. My only hope is for more people to experience a photo session with her.””
