Welcome to Studio 388 - a natural light photography studio in Kankakee owned by Kyle & Kara Evans!
If you know us, then you know we’re dreamers. Since starting our business in 2010 and photographing hundreds of weddings and families, we’ve always imagined having a studio space of our own. A place for families, photographers, creatives, and the local community to gather and create. Studio 388 is all of that and more, and we’re so glad you’re here to explore it!
So, what's the scoop?!
Our studio is located in the heart of downtown Kankakee. The space is available for rentals by appointment only, with hourly and full-day options for photographers, creatives, and small business owners. The 500 sqft studio is welcoming and bright, with neutral colors, textures, and furniture that create a minimalist, versatile backdrop. The possibilities are endless – the space is yours to make your own!

Tons of natural light – our space has a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows!

Multiple backdrops & photo backgrounds – the space features clean white walls, a shiplap wall, and a backdrop system with three seamless backdrops to choose from.

Furniture options to fit many styles – from the couch and bed to additional pieces like chairs and a bench in the prop closet, there’s plenty of variety to work with!

A dressing room to give your clients privacy and curtains hanging at the floor-to-ceiling windows for added privacy.

Private door code access for hourly studio rentals.

Accessibility for everyone! The studio is street level with wheelchair access & street parking. There's a bathroom just a quick walk down the hall from the studio, too!
