Fall engagement sessions are happening right and left! Meet Caroline and Cody – we met a few weeks ago at Linne Woods for engagement photos and had a blast!

I first met Caroline just over three years ago at Hannah and Steve’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I love meeting and connecting with new couples on wedding days! These connections bring me great joy in this business as a wedding vendor! And those referrals truly mean the most.

Caroline and Cody’s love story goes back to 2018 when they met on a dating app. After a few days of messaging back and forth, they grabbed drinks on a first date. By the time they had their third date, they both knew they were in it for the long haul. Fast forward to June 2021, Cody surprised Caroline with a proposal. The rest is history and now they’re planning their 2023 wedding day at Greenhouse Loft (a favorite venue of ours)!

After getting rained out on their first engagement session date, we made a backup plan and met for their engagement photos at Linne Woods in mid-October. We all agree that we are so thankful we held out and waited for a beautiful day even despite busy schedules. The day of their engagement session didn’t disappoint, and these two were up for anything. It was so much fun to hike around Linne Woods with them, pick out photo spots, and get to know them better as a couple. You don’t want to miss these photos – the sun was incredible!

I’m excited to see Caroline and Cody continue their love story in Chicago on their March 2023 wedding day!
