Goodness, the springtime sunshine and colorful blooms are bringing me so much joy! And, photographing Cara and Chad’s maternity session absolutely did, too!

The Tweedys are outgoing, silly, and honestly a joy to be around. They are relatable, talkative, and fun to work with… I know these two in a couple of different ways! In high school, Cara was my volleyball coach after she moved to the area. Chad, on the other hand, has been one of my sister-in-law Deidre’s best friends for many, many years!

Their session took place near their home on the lake in Loda, Illinois, and the area is so stunningly beautiful, especially in the spring! I can only imagine that all of the other seasons bring so much beauty throughout the rest of the year.
