Taylor and Karl are as sweet as can be. Their smiles and laugher are incredibly contagious… These two simply make you feel good to be around them.

Last November, Taylor contacted me, and guess what? She is a friend of Brittany… Remember Brittany and Luke? I loved connecting with her through another couple and learning about her love story and wedding day. We clicked from the start, and I couldn’t wait to work with her and her groom!

On the first Saturday of February, I met Taylor and Karl for their engagement session in Kankakee, Illinois. Since moving to the Kankakee area, I have been excited to visit new locations for sessions, so it was fun to meet this couple in downtown Kankakee to start the session.

After photos at the train depot area, we traveled to Chebanse, Illinois to Karl’s family farm. It was a “warm” February day, and we were thankful for beautiful light on that late afternoon. I think that Taylor, Karl, and myself are looking forward to incorporating the farm into their wedding day photos as well!

Like I said, the happiness of this couple is contagious. Karl is so in love with Taylor, and you can easily tell by the look in his eyes. As soon as Taylor smiles, Karl lights up with joy and happiness to be with his fiancé.
