A couple weeks ago, I read a blog post by a fellow photographer and friend that inspired me. Karen of Karen Shoufler Photography wrote a post titled 10 Things You Don’t Know About Me, and it inspired me to share more about myself. So, thank you, Karen! XOX

Today, I want to share 7, possibly random or unique, things about myself that you may or may not know! I hope this post offers a fun look into who I am because I truly love connecting with others and finding what we have in common. You’ll find out why I chose to share 7 things soon enough, too!

1) My husband and I are high school sweethearts.

Kyle and I met my freshman year of high school, his junior year, and it’s been history since. We’ve grown up together, learned together, and become closer each day. To me, there is something so romantic and sweet about experiencing so many new things in life together from a young age. I wouldn’t change being high school sweethearts for the world!

2) I am a proud puppy momma!

In June 2015, Kyle and I adopted Georgie Ann Evans. No, we still don’t know what type of dog she is, but we are absolutely smitten with her! She is so spoiled, but she has been the best pup and companion we could ask for!

*I also think being a proud Aunt to my Golden Retriever nephew, Max, falls under this category, too! As you can see, I’m a dog lover!

3) My favorite color is mustard yellow.

Seriously, you guys, this color goes with EVERYTHING! I love mustard yellow clothing, home decor, shoes… If it’s mustard yellow and you name it, I’ll probably love it!

4) I have a really good memory!

Okay, so this does NOT go for everything, but there are a few things in life that I can remember very well. For instance, if you tell me you like my shirt, shoes, or anything I’m wearing, I can tell you where I purchased each item and for how much. I’d say that’s an awesome but random skill to have!

I am also really great at finding misplaced items. It’s often that I find family members calling or texting me to ask if I know where “said item” is… Nine times out of ten, I remember where I last saw it. How strange!

5) Wedding cake is my weakness.

It’s true. I LOVE wedding cake. It is one of the sweetest things in life, and I seriously cannot get enough of it! Cupcakes make me happy, too! So, don’t worry, when I’m photographing a wedding I do my job and more, but I make sure that I have a piece of cake before I clock out!

6) Loud music makes me happy!

Yes, the louder the music in the car or even while cleaning the house, the happier I am! I cannot even count the number of times Kyle and I have gotten in the car and he’s started the engine to quickly be completely blasted by loud music! I always forget to turn down the volume after it’s just me driving in the car… Oops!

7) Seven is my (our) number…

My favorite number is seven, Kyle’s high school football jersey number was #7, we celebrated our 7th dating anniversary this past September, and we were married on the seventh day of June.
