Gosh, I’m still gushing over this museum campus couples session, and it was two weeks ago!
Meet Jade and Cahontas! Jade was the maid of honor at Sarah and Gene’s wedding last year, and I’ve adored her since meeting that day. Earlier this year, we reconnected and started planning a session for Jade and her girlfriend, Cahontas. This would be the first time they’ve been photographed, and I love that!
Their story goes back three years to when these two started working together. What started as a deep friendship blossomed into a beautiful loving relationship. Everyone in their lives fell in love with these two and their love for one another! They love helping the low-income youth of Chicago with their jobs and are proud of what they have. Pride is fun, and they exude just that! Their happiness shines through in every minute of being around Jade and Cahontas.
They said it best – “Fast forward to three years later… A mortgage, a real estate license, a master’s degree, and a cat named Pepper, and we are absolutely beautiful together.” Those words could not ring more true! If you know Jade and Cahontas, consider yourself lucky. These two (and their love for one another) are the real deal!
On the day of their couples session, we met at Chicago’s museum campus for photos. I loved catching up with these two and exploring the beautiful location with them. They were naturals in front of the camera, and I have SO MANY favorite photos of them. It was a joy to document their tender love and kindness towards one another along with their playful sides, too. This session was an absolute blast and filled my creative heart with so much love!
