Maybe you’re like me… A multi-passionate female creative with so many ideas swirling around in her head. Walking out the door each day and into the world where you’re inspired and dreaming up new ideas – most times it’s hard to turn your brain off! You love to plan and make goals! On the other hand, maybe you’re not like me (and hey girl, that’s a-okay!)… Maybe you have so many ideas in your head but you’re not sure what to do with them or where to start.

Or maybe you have never really written down goals for your life and biz…

Girlfriend, that’s okay! I always value setting my goals with intention and looking at the bigger picture. Because after all, what are goals if you aren’t looking beyond what’s in front of you? Think back to when you started your business… Why did you start your business? Why do you do what you do? What do you value? Dig deep and tune into your “why” to start to make sense of all the ideas in your head so that you can start to set intentional goals (financial, spiritual, wellness, growth, etc.) in your life and business. And please, be honest with yourself throughout this process!

Once you’ve taken the time to dig deep – or soul search – and tune in, goal setting is going to be so much easier and more enjoyable! Maybe you’re drawn toward monthly goals or maybe you’re excited about setting quarterly or yearly goals. Whatever the case, grounding yourself in your “why” will help you set these goals with intention. As you start to visualize and dream and draw a clearer picture of these goals, you will start to see that your life goals and business goals should go hand-in-hand… Supporting each other! Because, I don’t know about you, but I’m pursuing my passion project so that I can live my life – not the other way around!

My best piece of advice when it comes to setting intentional goals in your life and biz?

Write your goals down!

Friend, always remember that those goals that you wrote down for this month, this quarter, or this year… Well, they’re not the end all be all. Just don’t overthink it! Sometimes we fall off-track, take a different turn, or even re-evaluate what matters most to us – and that’s okay! Be kind to yourself throughout this process of dreaming up goals with intention.
