It’s officially fall, and I’ve gotta be honest – this summer girl is loving it!
The sunlight and trees are starting to fade into fall, and it makes me excited for all of the photo magic we’ll create this season!
Now that it’s October, we’re officially kicking off my birthday month, and I’m back with my monthly My Life Mondays recap. Let’s catch up with what’s been happening in life and business over the last month!

- Taking a day trip with my dad & sister brewery hopping in Michigan
- Enjoying the sunset stroll in downtown Kankakee
- Celebrating Kyle’s 31st birthday
- Spending Labor Day off work and with family
- Decorating our home for the fall season
- Traveling to STL for a gorgeous bridal session – stay tuned later this year for those gorgeous photos!
- Photographing a wedding day for my dear friend, Lauren
- Having a baking day with my grandma – blueberry pie, blueberry muffins, and homemade bread, yum!
- Canning our first ever batch of fresh tomato sauce – growing garden tomatoes is my favorite!
- Documenting two more wedding days with photo & video
- Spending a day at Benoit Greenhouses & picking out pumpkins
- Catching up with past clients & friends at SEVEN next chapter sessions!
- Visiting our college friends in STL and catching up
- Having a super fun Hocus Pocus 2 watch party
- Celebrating our 14-year dating anniversary and 3-year house anniversary
Now that October is here, it’s officially my birthday month! This month, we’re looking forward to documenting three wedding days, many next chapter sessions, and ELEVEN fall mini sessions.
