All the heart eyes for Mallory and Brandon’s engagement session at Milton Lee Olive Park and the Civic Opera in Chicago!
Meet Mallory and Brandon! These two found my work through two of our past and most loyal brides, Lauren and Lyndsey, and I’m forever grateful for that.
Their story goes back to when they met through mutual friends. They both knew pretty fast that they were in it for the long haul! After a year of dating, they moved in together in Chicago. They lived there for two years before adopting a puppy, Milo, and buying a house together.
Last year, Mallory and Brandon went to Arizona to celebrate their birthdays. On the first night of the trip, they went for a hike at sunset and Brandon proposed. Heart eyes!
Over the past few months, we’ve been planning the details for their late summer engagement session. Fun fact – the day of the session was Mallory’s birthday! What a fun way to celebrate!
We started the session at Milton Lee Olive Park. I loved getting to know these two better as we walked around and took photos. If you know me, you know that Milton Lee Olive Park is one of my favorite skyline photo spots in Chicago. And of course, their puppy Milo joined us for photos, too!
Halfway through their engagement session and as Mallory and Brandon were changing into their second outfit, an unexpected late summer storm rolled in… But not to worry, that’s what I’m here for! Backup plans and making magic happen despite what the weather decides to do!
We quickly pivoted plans and made our way to the Civic Opera house to hide from the rain. Mallory and Brandon were amazing and so trusting as we switched locations and made the best of their session! I honestly love the photos of these two at the Civic Opera house so much. It’s funny how the unexpected can sometimes bring such beauty!
Their engagement session has me so excited for Mallory and Brandon’s wedding in May 2023! Enjoy some favorites from Mallory and Brandon’s session!
