What a month! I’m over here in disbelief that it’s already OCTOBER… Friends, how can it be that we’re already within the last 90 days of 2019!
The month of September was full. It was busy and full and good. When I went back through my iPhone camera roll to dig up photos from the last month, I was shocked at how I hardly took photos on the go last month. So, here’s a quick peek at the last month for us! ?
The start of the month brought Labor Day weekend and our last time out on the boat with friends. My niece Sofia LOVED it! We were definitely soaking up the last bits of summer. The first full week of the month brought celebrating Kyle’s 28th birthday and dinner at one of our favorite local spots – Uptown Grille in Chebanse. Then we rolled into our first of three September wedding weekends!
The following week brought the start to fall volleyball at our church, engagement + anniversary sessions, our monthly TuesdaysTogether gathering, wrapping up a copywriting course (hey, check out the updates on my website!), consults with new brides, and prepping for another wedding weekend. And post-wedding where we were with THREE of our wedding couples, we loved spending a Sunday with Kyle’s siblings and snuggling our nephews. It was so good!
The third week of September brought more consults with brides (hello engagement season!), a visit from my photog gal pals Kate and Lauren, and not one, but TWO downtown Chicago engagement sessions. It was a good week complete with lots of running around! Then we rounded out our September weddings on the 21st night of September… See what I did there! ?
And on September 28th, we celebrated our ELEVEN year dating anniversary. Wow! It feels like an eternity when I type eleven years out but really, it feels like yesterday. The icing on the cake? We got to enjoy a weekend off work together over our anniversary, too!
All the while all this fun life and business stuff was happening, Kyle, Georgie, and I were behind the scenes packing up our rental house and preparing to close on our first home… On the last day of September, we closed on our first home in Kankakee! Yep, we might be a little crazy buying a house and moving during fall crazy wedding season, but we’re so happy and excited for this next adventure in our married life together.
