I’m back at it this spring and sharing these amazing photos at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio! A few weeks ago, I visited our dear friends Alexis and Scott in their new city. These two are celebrating three married years this summer!

You might remember Alexis and Scott from a photo session they had several years ago with me! Alexis is my college roomie turned bestie, and we love any time we get to spend together. We’re going on a decade of friendship, and it keeps getting better!

For their anniversary photo session in San Antonio, I encouraged them to channel urban, trendy vibes, and I think we all love the result! I even raided Alexis and Scott’s closet to help plan their outfits, ha! I wish it was this easy with every client, so this is always why I’m always texting back and forth with clients to plan session outfits… And I promise you, it’s totally worth it!

We chose to take their anniversary photos at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio. This is one of their favorite spots and not too far from their apartment, too! Let me tell you – it was perfect! The gorgeous sunlight, upper 70’s, and cutie couple on the rooftop… It doesn’t get much better than that! I would photograph these two at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio any day!

This year, one of my shooting goals is to focus on movement and motion in my work. So, throughout this session, I worked hard to evoke as much movement, play, and fun into the photos. I loved pushing myself creatively and am excited to use this session as some really fun momentum going into our spring wedding and engagement sessions!
