June was soooo good to us! I’m going to try to remember all of the highlights + the people, but there were so many good things that happened so I’m sure I’ll miss something 🙂

The past month started out (literally on June 1st) with the birth of our niece, Anna Pixley! And we even got to meet the little lady just hours after she was born… So sweet! So, the month of June has been full of visits and snuggle time with Miss Pix (and a sip and see shower at our FAV Grapes & Hops), and we love it so. Oh, and Georgie girl really likes her new cousin, too!

Kyle and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary this month + he got a new local job. I have also loved connecting Kyle to our Bradley-Bourbonnais community more this month… We just love our people here! We are so very thankful!

Of course, I had my fair share of sessions, and we photographed four weddings throughout the month, too! I even got to spend extra time with my best photog buddy and amazing friend Kate… Who said we are too old for sleepovers?! And, yes, we made sure to update Kate’s headshots + photos with her boyfriend, and Kate returned the favor by photographing our anniversary photos again this year.  I love this tradition we have started! And absolutely… After photos we celebrated with our weekly taco Tuesday with Kate, Kyle, my sister Alyssa, and my brother-in-law Sebastian. Gosh, I cannot imagine how joyful we will be looking back on photos from each year of our marriage.

And the icing on the cake this month? I got to meet + squeeze two of my favorite ladies for the first time in person! Remember Kelsey and Britt who worked with me for my rebrand and website redesign? YES… I got to meet these ladies, share dinner and drinks, and it was so so amazing!

You guys, this month was GOOD. And while I know things aren’t always as perfect as they seem on social media and online, but it’s true… I am so thankful + full of joy after the month of June!
