This was the best last engagement session of 2020! Say hello to Bree and Hans! They found my work this fall after getting engaged – shout out to Lyndsey & Drew and Lauren & Will for sharing our work with this couple! Before we knew it, we were jumping right into planning their Allerton Park engagement photos before the end of the year.
Bree and Hans are high school sweethearts. You know I always adore high school sweethearts! They’ve been dating since 2012 – that’s eight years of loving each other now! They both attended different high schools, but Bree was on the dance team and Han’s played basketball so their paths were bound to cross throughout their small towns. And small world… Bree’s grandma was Hans’ neighbor, so she played matchmaker for this couple, too!
This past fall, Hans surprised Bree with a proposal. He even included their adorable pup, Luna! I mean, she is the most adorable Australian Shepherd – you’ll see her as the star in some engagement photos below. I love it so much! Now, these two call Fisher, IL home where they’re enjoying careers in MRI/CT tech and in agribusiness. These two love spending time with their friends and family, and I love that about them!
On the day of their engagement session at Allerton Park, we were SO THANKFUL for the December sun. The temp was in the mid-30’s, so that sun (and hand warmers, lol) was our saving grace. We met at one of my favorite Central Illinois locations – Allerton Park – and it was a blast. Between the location, the light, and the couple, it was bound to be a great session. I’m even more thankful these two braved the cold day for engagement photos!
HEre’s a look at their session! Looking forward to their wedding next August!
