Oh, happy day! I’m so excited to share Lauren and Will’s fall Allerton Park engagement photos on the blog!
Meet Lauren and Will! I connected with these two this past summer when they were looking for an engagement photographer, and I’m so thankful for that!
Lauren and Will’s story goes back a few years to when they met and fell in love. This past summer, Will surprised Lauren and proposed while on a trip to Hilton Head. They told me all about the proposal and it sounded picturesque and perfect! Now, they’re planning their destination wedding day in Branson next June and enjoying engaged life between Lauren’s time spent teaching fourth grade and Will’s time spent farming. These two are just so sweet!
On the evening of their engagement session, we met at Allerton Park & Retreat Center – just a few short minutes from Lauren and Will’s home in Monticello. Gosh, this location is a magical dream, and I always love visiting it for sessions. And this one did not disappoint! Even despite the windy day, we were thankful for ALL the fall colors and being able to tuck away into the trees and out of the wind. It was absolutely perfect!
All throughout this session, I adored getting to know these two while photographing them! You know how sometimes you meet people and you just click with them? Well, that’s exactly what happened with Lauren and Will! We hit it off from the start of their session, and they were fully trusting of me. This was the first time they’d been professionally photographed together and you probably wouldn’t even guess that by looking at the photos, too! I just adore these two and am thankful to have played a small part in documenting their love story.
