Oh my, this family truly encompasses LOVE! 

Last year when living in Jacksonville, I was amazingly fortunate to meet Kate Spencer and start working alongside her as a second shooter for weddings. By the end of 2015, I had second shot a total of 15 weddings with her… Better yet? We quickly became lifelong friends!

Time and time again, I am reminded that this job is way more than that… It is an amazing journey that has connected me with so many individuals that continually have an impact on my life. My friendship with Kate continues to grow, and I am truly thankful for her! And her sister Lauren is a crazy talented photographer, too… See, the connections are overwhelming amazing! Even as small business owners, it’s important to have friendship, community, and people that have your back and “get it”.

Fast forward to this fall – I was visiting the Jacksonville/Springfield area for 10 days packed with weddings, sessions, and event photography, so what better time than that to photograph the entire Spencer family! Oh, and squeeze in a few photog friend sleepovers and lunch dates with Kate?! 😉

Like I said, this family radiates love, joy, and happiness to be one big family! I LOVED how they completely let their guards down and truly let me photograph them being themselves… That’s the good stuff, you guys! And oh my, Miss Harper is as cute as pie! She is full of personality, sass, and sweetness – I totally enjoyed photographing her sweet smiles, laughs, and giggles. Plus, this girl has style! I was jealous of her adorable kimono, and you will be, too!
