This season in business has shown me more growth, love, and grace than ever before! Goodness, I am thankful!

Just over two weeks ago, I was back in the Jacksonville, Illinois area for work and so happy to be able to schedule sessions with some of my favorite people! While attending Illinois College, I met so many people (as you’ve probably seen me write about before), and I am constantly in awe of how they come back into my life and my business offering me even more blessings. Jacksonville and IC will always hold a special place in my heart!

During my last years at IC, I was fortunate to meet Katie through working in the marketing office on campus. I soon came to know Katie as a kind, compassionate mom-to-be… Now, she and her husband Cory have a healthy, happy 10 month old baby boy named Ryne.

So, you can imagine my excitement leading up to this session! Katie’s vision for the session aligned with my overall vision for all of my family sessions… Documenting a family being themselves – a place in their story! Transitioning to a more lifestyle feel in my family sessions has been amazingly fulfilling, and I honestly think it shows even more love within my clients’ families and lives. It’s real, genuine time together – simply documented!

As you’ll see from these photos, Katie and Cory’s sweet family of three was adorable for this session! Ryne wasn’t too sure about the camera, but nonetheless, we have beautiful photos of this family interacting, loving on one another, and simply being themselves. Oh, so much LOVE!
