Last weekend, I was honored to be a part of The Majestically Yours Bridal Show at The Majestic in Kankakee! This was my first time participating in this bridal show as a vendor (I did attend as a bride myself several years ago!), and I LOVED it. What a Sunday well spent!
This year, I was fortunate to be able to reuse my DIY backdrop that my dad helped me build + whitewash last year while my husband Kyle was deployed. I am always thankful for these two and their talents with these projects. You might remember the backdrop from an expo I participated in last year… I just loved this piece (finished with none other than Annie Sloan Chalk Paint’s Old White – my very favorite!) and knew that I had to use it again! And I cannot forget a big thanks that goes to my brother-in-law for helping me set-up the wooden backdrop this year, too!
Of course, I incorporated my favorite pink sequin tablecloth into the booth this year! It is my most favorite statement piece, and it screams the Kara Evans Photographer brand! Other details throughout the booth included a various mixture of frames + photos, gold easels, a giveaway bucket, sample albums, business cards, and handout cards. It was so fun sharing this booth with locals this year at The Majestic!
The day was filled with the hustle and bustle of newly engaged couples and their loved ones exploring the bridal show and meeting the areas vendors as soon as the doors opened. It was so encouraging to see the crowd of wonderful guests AND vendors under one roof! Plus, I loved getting to catch up with some other small business owners I love while also meeting new people! And I was so thankful to have my sister Alyssa by my side as my helper at this year’s booth. She was amazing as my partner in crime!
I just loved the entire experience that The Majestically Yours Bridal Show had to offer this year… Plus, my dear friends Amy and Terrance knocked the entire event out of the park! These two purchased the business just 8 months ago and are doing such big things for the community, vendors, and couples. I am so proud of them and cannot wait to see their success grow!
Here’s a look at my little booth with all things pink! Hugs!
