Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

This SNOW engagement session was my very last e-session of 2017, and it did not disappoint! The temps were around 15 degrees and snow was all around, but that didn’t stop us… Love, love, love these photos!

Last November, Marissa and I connected after she found my work online. From our first emails and FaceTime consult, I knew I would be honored to be her wedding photographer. And I was so eager to meet her and her fiance, Michael, at their engagement session in December when they would be in the Kankakee area for the holidays!

In the time leading up to their engagement session, it was so fun to plan with Marissa – she is so easygoing and sweet! We started their snowy winter engagement session in downtown Kankakee (bundled up in jackets + hats, of course!), but I was able to sneak in a few photos of their adorable outfits sans jackets, too. Then, we warmed up at Grapes & Hops and finished the session at Perry Farm in Bourbonnais.

Let me tell you, these two are the BEST for braving this weather! And I think it’s so fun for them to have unique, snowy engagement photos. Cannot wait for their October wedding day!
