Just over three years ago I met Bryan through the marketing office at Illinois College, and this past month I was lucky enough to photograph his entire family!

The Leonards are so sweet and the boys (and Miss Ruby) were full of energy for our session(s)! We originally scheduled our session in August, but on the night we started our first session, we ran into a downpour. So, we packed up and decided to give it another try on another night! Usually these things don’t happen, but you never know with the Illinois weather!

Bryan and Heather were such troopers – I cannot imagine trying to get six kiddos (and myself) ready and out the door all in one piece, especially after one photo session was rained out! I have a puppy and it’s hard enough to round her up 😉

This family was a complete joy to work with, and I am sincerely happy that I was able to photograph all of them at their cabin and beautiful land outside of Jacksonville… [Notice all of the tall, gorgeous grass!] I loved shooting at this location!
