Remember these lovebirds from their engagement session this past winter?! Well, today, I’m beyond excited to share their wedding photos and all things about their wedding day on the blog!
Taylor and Trevor are as sweet as pie, and I’m sure everyone that knows and loves these two would agree. These two are perfectly complementary to one another, and they love each other and their people hard… What a beautiful example for everyone in their life!
Last November, I remember receiving an email from Taylor about her September 2017 wedding day, and of course, I was incredibly honored to be considered as her wedding photographer. After chatting back and forth and learning their story (and of Trevor’s summer surprise proposal to Taylor), these two secured me as their wedding photographer, and the fun began!
I love their love story… These two met at Illinois College (our mutual alma mater and reason they found my photography) where they both played soccer, and I would say the rest is history… But these two are still making it! They’ve been together for nearly seven years throughout school, graduations, jobs, wedding planning, and more.
Throughout the past months, it has been so fun to be along for the ride as Taylor and Trevor planned their engagement session + wedding day and narrowed down little details all around their celebration of marriage. I LOVED planning their engagement session outfits with Taylor – hello fashion show – and the entire session experience was a dream. These two are SO PHOTOGENIC that it isn’t even funny!
At the start of their wedding day, I arrived at Cedar Lake Cellars so giddy to get started and to document such an important day in their story together. And of course, the girls (and guys) were all so welcoming, sweet, and excited themselves for the day ahead. This bridal party was THE BEST! Soon enough, it was time for Taylor to step into her wedding gown and reveal her wedding day look to her dad. Goodness, wait until you see those photos from the emotional moment. I loved how Taylor was able to spend a few moments with her dad before walking to her first look with Trevor… So sweet! Taylor and Trevor shared a lovely first look along the bridge at the winery and then exchanged gifts. This was so special to take a few minutes after the first look to exchange wedding day gifts in person – I loved this!
As we moved through bridal party photos and photos of Taylor and Trevor, I could not help but feel so thankful to be able to document these relationships and these people. These people love Taylor and Trevor so very much, and the support and celebration and happiness surrounding this couple was truly beautiful. With a support system like theirs, these two will grow immensely in their marriage and relationship together.
As always, I have favorite memories or details from each wedding day I photograph. Taylor and Trevor’s day had so many little details that were incredibly meaningful and unforgettable. Their gorgeous winery venue to the impeccable florals to their amazing blush/rose vintage romance decor + style to the gorgeous weather for their outdoor wedding day… Goodness! I loved Taylor and Trevor’s hand fasting ritual during their ceremony, too. It was a beautiful ritual to symbolize their union and intentions in marriage. And of course, Taylor and Trevor started the celebration of their wedding reception on such a spectacular note with their choreographed first dance after dinner. These two have been taking dance lessons over the past few months leading up to their wedding day, and it was so fun for their family and friends to see their moves!
Taylor and Trevor… I have so many wonderful memories from your wedding day, and I am thankful to be able to share these photos of your most perfect day with you! Your joy is contagious, and marriage looks so good on you two! Hugs!
