It was so good to be back in the heart of downtown Chicago for Erin and Johnny’s summer museum campus engagement photos this July!
Meet Erin and Johnny! Their story goes back to high school where they met and starting dating their senior year before college. Then, after deciding to spend a little time apart in the early days of college while staying friends, they got back together later in college and have been together ever since! During the first winter storm this past winter, Johnny surprised Erin with a proposal. He proposed outside at their first place together in the city. How sweet!
Several months ago, these two found my work on Pinterest, and I’m thankful for that! Now, they’re planning their summer 2021 wedding in Chicago. Engagement photos were one thing to check off the wedding to-do list, and we did that and so much more!
On the evening of their engagement photos, we met near Grant Park and Millennium Park to start their session. I loved wandering around with these two and laughing and talking as they warmed up to my camera. Erin and Johnny are as cute as can be and fun to be around! I loved hearing about their life in the city, favorite date night (sushi, duh!), and of course, wedding plans as we walked around taking photos.
After we wrapped up with a few photos along Michigan Avenue, we headed over to Museum Campus for their second outfit. You guys, it was a GORGEOUS evening! The couple and the light inspired me that night! And if you know me, you know that I’ll always have a place in my heart for the Chicago skyline. Beautiful!
Enjoy some of my very favorite photos from their Museum Campus engagement photos!
