Spring Mini Sessions at Studio 388 in Kankakee, Illinois

This year’s spring mini sessions are here!! This spring, I hosted my annual day of spring mini sessions at our Kankakee photography studio, Studio 388!

On that spring morning at our natural light Kankakee studio, it was breezy and warm outside, so we were thankful to be tucked inside at the studio! I had the honor of photographing four mini sessions. If you know me and we’ve ever talked about the studio or you’ve seen photos from the studio, then you probably know that I love neutrals in the space. It probably comes as no surprise that I loved styling the spring mini session setup. I layered white linens & neutral textures with gingham pillows, and then finished things off with the most beautiful ferns from Benoit Greenhouses. Channeling my creativity and love for styling is always a joy for studio sessions!

I loved sharing the studio with past clients on this spring Saturday morning in downtown Kankakee. They’re our lifer clients and friends, and we’re grateful to document their lives throughout the seasons. We had a mommy and me session along with three family sessions. It was the perfect mix for a morning at the studio!
