Natural Light Studio Newborn Photographer | The Nenn Family

As I was recently looking at the calendar, it dawned on me that this is the spring and summer of babies! I have so many newborns penciled in on my calendar throughout this spring and summer… My heart is full and so eager to meet and photograph these new little ones in the coming weeks and months! Bring on all the studio newborn photos!!

This spring, I welcomed one of those new little ones and his family to the studio! The Nenn family visited me at the studio at the end of April when baby L was just two weeks old. I had the honor of meeting and photographing their new family of four for the first time! This session was so sweet. These boys are bound to be best friends!

My approach to newborn photography focuses on capturing photos of your family with your new little one and photos of your new baby in these days that will pass quickly. I love letting the baby lead and centering the session on a relaxed, lifestyle approach to taking photos. It’s my goal that your family feels welcomed, comfortable, and loved at the studio. While I will always take photos of you and your family smiling at the camera… I love mixing in sweet, tender moments of your family interacting and loving on each other, too.

I always start newborn sessions by taking family and sibling photos so that the older siblings can relax after their photos are finished. From there, I photograph mom, dad, and baby along with individuals of mom + baby and dad + baby. Then, we round out the session with photos of just baby! Over the years, newborn sessions have become some of my favorites. I love capturing these sweet newborn moments and snuggling sweet babies at the studio. What a gift that I get to call this my job!
