When I have conversations with friends, family members, and clients about my business, I always find myself going back to the realization that my business and people are all interconnected. It’s amazing to experience these connections… And when past clients refer future clients, I am thankful!
Just over a month ago, Shelby contacted me after being referred from past bride, Jessica. I was instantly excited for the opportunity to get to know her love story + learn more about her wedding day! Shortly after, Shelby + Brandon booked wedding photography, and we were planning their spring engagement session. I love how Shelby is a planner – #soulsister – and loves checking things off of her wedding “to do” list. Her personality is so fitting with mine, and I love that even after all of the planning and to do’s she wants to have fun and truly enjoy the entire wedding experience!
Shelby and Brandon met almost two years ago online, and after their first date, their relationship was a hit! They played pool and enjoyed drinks at a local bar, and then went putt putt golfing. How simple and sweet! And then, just a couple months ago, Brandon proposed to Shelby at her home and of course she said yes!
Their engagement session started in downtown Champaign (their current home) and ended at a local park. And of course, we included their pup Colby – thanks to Shelby’s sister for helping with miss puppy! I loved working with these two (plus puppy) and getting to know them more at their session. These two are playful and fun and so excited to be married next April!
