Another wedding day is gracing the blog! I’m happy to share Symber and Donny’s romantic blush wedding day in Peotone, Illinois today!

Last summer, Symber and I connected as they started planning their spring 2019 wedding day. I loved meeting her from the start and knew working with her would be a joy! And I LOVED getting to know these two better at their summer engagement session, too. ?

The Love Story

These two met spontaneously at a graduation party 9 years ago and have been together as a couple for the past four! In March of 2017, Donny completely surprised Symber when he proposed on a trip to Las Vegas. Picture this… This adorable couple, the Bellagio Fountain in Vegas, and a proposal. These two spent the trip celebrating. I love it!

Lately life has been filled with wedding planning for these two! But when they aren’t working on wedding projects they love to work on home projects at their new house. Donny loves to fish, and he loves to include Symber’s daughter, Lia, in his fishing adventures, too. This couple is fun – and I mean FUN! – and they are social butterflies. They are truly the perfect match!

Over the last year, I’ve enjoyed getting to know these two better as a couple as they planned their wedding day. From the start, I have been in love with one of their very important wedding details… The location! Symber and Donny chose to have their wedding ceremony and reception take place on Symber’s family’s property. How very sweet and sentimental!

The Wedding Day

On the morning of the wedding, Kyle and I arrived to Symber’s family home. The girls were relaxed and having fun getting ready for the day! We started with detail photos while everyone was looking forward to the day ahead… All the while crossing our fingers that the rain would push off the forecast! I especially loved the getting ready moments of this day as there weren’t many dry eyes in the room from Symber’s daughter Lia to the bridesmaids to this photographer. It was a sweet morning!

Before we knew it, it was time to head outside to the orchard for bridesmaids (and then groomsmen) photos. Symber and Donny were excited to see each other for the first time down the aisle. I know I already shared this, but having their wedding celebration and photos on Symber’s family property was truly the most fitting sentiment. It was just perfect for their romantic blush wedding day in Peotone. Plus I loved how the rose gold, cream, and gray colors worked perfectly into all of their decor, attire, and the natural beauty of the land. So, so pretty!

As the ceremony began, there were no dry eyes again as Symber’s three brothers each played a part in walking her down the aisle. And as the couple shared vows and exchanged rings under the sunshine and moments of cloud cover, I think everyone was thankful for the beautiful day and this couple bringing everyone together.

After the ceremony, wedding days seem to fly by! As the afternoon rolled into the evening, we were still thankful that the rain held off… The entire day and into the evening! Symber and Donny took a few moments to step outside for sunset photos and of course, these are my most favorite photos from their wedding day. The love, the joy, the donuts ?, and the newlywed bliss – I love it!
