Rochelle and Ryan are the sweetest. Throughout my time of working with them and getting to know them, they have shown me so much love, kindness, and appreciation.

Rochelle and Ryan met over three years ago, and as Rochelle told me, it’s been amazing ever since! When I am around these two (and I’m sure their family and friend’s can attest to this), their love and affection for one another is undeniable. They are truly beautiful people inside and out and complement each other in the best ways.

Over the past few months, I have loved chatting back and forth with Rochelle about their engagement session, wedding day timeline, attire ideas, and more. It makes me realize how thankful I am to have such a fitting relationship with my couples and to be valued throughout the planning process. I love to help any bit that I can along the way because I truly love my couples!

Rochelle and Ryan’s wedding day was the most beautiful October day. Bright skies, warm wind, freshly turning leaves, and amazing people sharing the love surrounded the couple throughout their day. Next to seeing Rochelle and Ryan unite in their love and become one, my favorite detail of the day were the Converse shoes that were gifted to the groomsmen. The gift was unique, useful, and a fun detail in the photos… You’ll see below!

To add to the fun of their wedding day, we stopped at Capitol Avenue, per Rochelle and Ryan’s request, to photograph these two in a lovely location representative of where they live. We enjoyed ourselves throughout the afternoon with various other stops around Springfield, too. I loved working with these two – they are always up for my ideas and trust me to document their day in a way that is representative of them. I am grateful to know this couple.

I was in awe throughout the entire day to see so much love and happiness surrounding Rochelle and Ryan. Their daughter Hayden was fun, spunky, and you could easily see how much joy she brought to the day. Their family and friends laughed, cried, and celebrated with them throughout the day and these moments could not be any more theirs.
