Perry Farm Milestone Session | The Diaz Family

My niece Lucy is nine months old, and we just had to celebrate with a little milestone session! She’s my sister’s youngest daughter, and let me tell you – this girl has been bringing sass and personality into our days since the moment she was born. She’s sassy, she’s sweet, and she’s becoming quite the social butterfly (when she wants to be!)… All wrapped into one tiny package.

On the evening of her milestone session, Lucy was full of personality for the camera. She gave me so many expressions, but in true Lucy fashion, she made sure to keep a few things to herself – like her brand-new toothy grin and my favorite little scrunchy face she makes. Sometimes kiddos get shy or save certain expressions when the camera is out, but that’s part of the beauty of these sessions. I love meeting them where they are and capturing the real, true version of them in that moment.

This mini session was short, sweet, and absolutely perfect for documenting this milestone. I can hardly believe we’re only a few months away from celebrating her first birthday. What a joy it’s been to watch our Lucy grow!
