If you’ve followed my work for the past several years, then you probably recognize these familiar faces!
The DePaolo family has been in front of my camera many times, and every time is such a treat. They are kind, easy-going, and simply a joy to be around – truly the kind of people who fill my cup right up.
This session at Perry Farm was extra special because it was a Mother’s Day gift. Joel and the boys surprised Colleen with a photo session, and she chose to use it in late summer as the season was starting to shift toward fall. I loved that timing – it gave us the chance to soak up the last bit of summer while leaning into the cozy transition of a new season.
Our focus for this session was Colleen and her sweet boys, and let me tell you, they were adorable together. The giggles, the snuggles, and the way they look at their mom melted my heart. My hope is that these photos serve as a lasting reminder of the special bond Colleen shares with her boys for years to come.
This session is also the perfect reminder that “mommy & me” photos don’t have to be limited to springtime around Mother’s Day. Your relationship with your kiddos is worth celebrating and documenting in every season, and the DePaolo family is such a beautiful example of that.
