I just love these two!

Late this past summer, I connected with Lyndsey and Drew through one of my brides, Erin. And goodness, I am thankful! It’s so crazy for me to look back on these past five years of weddings and engagements and see how so many of my people are interconnected. It’s like one big wedding family, and I LOVE IT!

Lyndsey and Drew met while attending college at Eastern Illinois University and the rest is history! After dating long distance for a couple years, these two now call the Champaign, Illinois area home. Then, this summer while celebrating Lyndsey’s birthday, Drew completely surprised her and proposed in front of their closest friends and family! So, so sweet.

Over the past few months, I have been looking forward to Lyndsey and Drew’s engagement session with so much excitement in my soul! These two have a contagious energy of happiness and joy, and they are just so fun to be around. On the original date of their engagement session, it was the most dreary, rainy day. Of course, another rainy day from this fall! I am so very happy we decided to postpone their session to a nicer day…

On the day of their engagement session, we were thankful for 50+ degree temperatures and sunshine, oh sweet sunshine! I also LOVED how these two incorporated Drew’s uniform + service in the Illinois Army National Guard into these photos – they are my favorite of the session! Lyndsey and Drew were so easy-going and natural in front of my camera. They told me at the start of the session that they had never had professional photos taken and were a bit nervous… I think you’ll agree – they had no need to be nervous! They are a gorgeous, photogenic couple!
