Wedding season is in FULL swing, and I’m loving it! Let’s share a little love for Keely and Drew today 🙂
Keely and Drew are truly kind people, and their family is the single most important thing in their life…Â It’s as simple as that, and I love it! I connected with these two last year and officially met that at their engagement session this past spring. Over the months, I have loved getting to know these two and their story!
These two met in 2012 through mutual friends, became best friends almost immediately, and started dating shortly after. They quickly realized their shared love for country music and time outdoors with their friends and family, and their love grew. All throughout their relationship, Keely and Drew have been each others’ rock and supported one another. Then, in the summer of 2015, they welcomed their baby girl Kynsleigh into the world, and early this summer, they welcomed their sweet baby boy Talon into the world. Keely and Drew have shared with me (and it’s absolutely evident if you spend even a few minutes with these two) that as their family has grown, their love for one another has only grown stronger and deeper and more unconditional for one another. and the life they’re buildling So, so true!
So, what about the proposal?! On Keely’s birthday, Drew surprised her with a ferry ride while on their beach vacation. They headed to Dauphin Island near Gulf Shores, Alabama – known for the world’s most beautiful sunsets (my heart!). When they were on the beach ready to watch the sunset, Drew proposed to Keely. What an unforgettable moment in their life together!
At the start of this wedding day, we were all feeling so thankful for the beautiful September day we were blessed with. And this was the perfect note to start the day off! All throughout the day, even amidst the emotions, nerves, and excitement, a sense of joy was simply in the air. All of Keely and Drew’s people were there to love and support them – what a beautiful thing!
As Keely and Drew’s photographer, I was in awe of the creative team they connected with for their wedding day. Keely’s wedding day vision absolutely came to life! The navy blue married with the earthy pastel flowers, and beautiful decor (shout-out to Create a Scene Events – WOW!)… Goodness, I loved it! And I also loved connecting with Keely and Drew’s sweet wedding planner Sara with So Chic Events. These two told me how much they adored her leading up to their wedding day, and I am totally #teamsara now, too!
In the end, this wedding day was 100% Keely and Drew… Filled with lots of love, country music, laughs, and FUN! And I love, love, loved documenting sweet moments throughout this wedding day that included their sweet kiddos – wait until you see those photos sprinkled throughout the day! I am just so happy to know these two and to be able to share their wedding photos today!
Keely and Drew – Congratulations again! It’s so exciting to see you two as Mr. and Mrs. – married life looks good on you both!Â
