Last October, I first connected with Keely and Drew. From the start, they have been kind, patient, and jumped right into the fun of wedding photography in the wedding planning process! And just recently, I finally got to hug them in person and photograph their engagement session on a warm March day!
Keely and Drew met in 2012 through mutual friends. Keely told met that they instantly became inseparable and later welcomed a baby girl in 2015. Last April, while on their family vacation in Gulf Shores, Drew surprised Keely when he proposed! It was her birthday, and she was expecting to go to the island for a birthday dinner… Celebrating another year with her love and her family. But the evening proved to be even more memorable! After taking a ferry to Dauphin Island – the sunset capital of the world – Drew proposed to Keely on the beach at sunset. I have no idea how this story, proposal, or location could be better! When I hear their story, I always envision the beauty of this moment (and that romantic sunset light).

They are madly in love and going through life together side by side! Drew’s tender touch and soft smiles toward Keely show passion and true joy to be her lifetime love. The two complement one another incredibly, fit together, and their interactions are simple and sweet. Soon, they will welcome baby #2, a little boy, into the family, and I’m excited to meet both little ones on their wedding day!
