One of the greatest joys of this job is getting to photograph families throughout many seasons of life. Welcoming Abby and Max back to the studio with their baby girl was so special! After documenting their engagement photos and wedding day, this session felt like such a full-circle moment.
Their newborn session at the studio was calm, cozy, and filled with so much joy. Baby Ainsley slept through the entire session and was an absolute doll to photograph. Watching Parenthood truly looks so good on Abby and Max! Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of why I love this work so much.
If you’re expecting and thinking about newborn photos, I always recommend reaching out during your second trimester to begin planning your session. I schedule newborn sessions within one to three weeks after baby arrives. Penciling your due date onto my calendar early helps ensure availability since I only take a limited number of sessions each month.
One thing I always remind mamas-to-be is that newborn scheduling is flexible. We choose a session date based around your due date, and once your little one arrives, we can adjust as needed depending on when baby arrives. My goal is to make the process feel simple, relaxed, and stress-free so you can focus on soaking in those early days with your growing family.
