Some sessions leave you smiling the entire drive home, and this was absolutely one of them. Peyton and Andrew are right in the middle of such a sweet season of life, and it was such an honor to photograph their engagement session!
Peyton and Andrew got engaged at the beginning of April and quickly jumped into wedding planning. One of the first things on their list? Engagement photos! I’m so grateful they trusted me to document this season, and after spending the evening together, I absolutely adore this couple.
Their session took place at one of my new favorite locations in Iroquois County. Over the past couple of seasons, I’ve loved sharing this spot with my clients because it truly has everything. Gorgeous scenery, beautiful light, and so much variety all in one place. Every time I photograph here, I leave inspired, and Peyton and Andrew’s engagement session was no exception to that!
From the moment we started, these two were complete naturals in front of the camera. Their love feels easy and genuine. They share silliness and sweetness. The tenderness between them, the way they laughed together, and the in between moments they shared made this session such a joy to photograph. Getting to know them better throughout the evening felt less like work and more like spending time with friends!
We were keeping a close eye on the forecast leading up to their session because spring weather in the Midwest can truly go either way (iykyk). Thankfully, we ended up with the most beautiful evening. The temperatures were perfect, the light was dreamy, and we even got one of my favorite kinds of Midwest sunsets to finish the session. It honestly could not have been more perfect!
Peyton and Andrew, thank you for inviting me into this season of your story! Cheers to this beautiful couple!
