Our baby boy Jett turns ONE today! Man, the time has flown by since the little man joined our family!
His birthday will be celebrated today with lots of snuggles, new toys, extra treats, a play date with his cousin Max, bugging his sister Georgie as he does so well, and playing in the snow outside. He’s a spoiled boy, and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
Last April, Jett joined our family. Yep, we were those people that adopted a dog during the pandemic. We’d been wanting to get Georgie a puppy brother or puppy sister since Thanksgiving 2019 and as we neared her fifth birthday, so it made sense to adopt Jett in April 2020 when we were going to be home a lot as a family. It’s been the best decision! We love seeing Georgie and Jett together. They’re the cutest little BFFs! Just check out their Instagram!
Jett is our sweet boy that loves to give ALL THE KISSES, thinks he’s a lap dog (he always wants to sit on top of you!), and has some of the most clumsy and then most impressive moves! He’s spunky and oh so stubborn but sweet and full of energy, too. We love our boy!
Over the past year, Jett took lots of car rides (though he wasn’t sure about riding in daddy’s truck at first!), planted his first garden, become partners in crime with cousin Sofia, swam in Grammy’s pool, become BFFs with our friends’ dog Willy, mastered the morning W with sister Georgie, fell in love with the neighbor dog, and learned all kinds of tricks. We’re excited to see what the next year brings with his training and obedience as he grows up!
