Iroquois County Family Photographer | The Cowsert Family

I’ve been photographing the Cowsert family since Andrea and Zach got engaged back in 2021 and married in 2022. It’s been such a joy to document their story ever since! From engagement and wedding photos to maternity, newborn, and now sweet family sessions with their daughter Sadie – I’ve been so blessed to capture so many of their milestones along the way.

The fall season has truly treated this Kankakee and Iroquois County family photographer SO well! And this most recent session with the Cowsert family might just be my favorite yet. I traveled out to their beautiful home in Iroquois County. It’s the most gorgeous spot tucked out in the country with incredible sunset views. They’re in the midst of renovations and projects, making the house their home, and this session felt like the perfect way to mark this new chapter. These photos will always be a reminder of where it all began in their new home!

When I arrived, Andrea mentioned that they just wanted to capture life as it is – an evening spent together out on their property. I loved that idea from that very moment on. So, that’s exactly what we did! We explored outside, pushed Sadie on the swing, played ring around the rosie, snuggled puppy Milo, soared through the air, played in the fall leaves, and soaked up every bit of sunshine and laughter.

This session was so sweet and full of genuine moments that felt perfectly them. I have so much love for the Cowsert family. Just feeling so grateful to keep documenting their story, one milestone at a time!
