I loved photographing Beatriz and Efrain’s intimate wedding in their backyard this April!
This wedding was a full-circle moment for me!
In August 2020, I photographed Daniela and Andrew’s engagement photos and first met Daniela’s mom, Beatriz. The following summer in August 2021, I photographed Daniela and Andrew’s wedding day and had the honor of meeting more of Daniela’s family (many from Colombia!) and meeting Efrain. So you can imagine that it warmed my heart when Beatriz thought to reach out to me about photographing Beatriz and Efrain’s wedding day. It’s the highest compliment that reminds me why I do what I do!
Beatriz and Efrain have been friends for around four years. They enjoy sharing meals together, going to church, and spending time with their families. One year ago, they knew that they wanted to be married. This spring, they decided it was time to get married. They planned their intimate wedding to take place in their backyard in a matter of just a couple of weeks!
Beatriz and Efrain’s intimate wedding took place on April 22nd in their backyard surrounded by their closest family and friends. I loved documenting everyone coming together to celebrate Beatriz and Efrain. The ceremony, celebration, and good company with all of their guests created a wonderful afternoon for their intimate wedding! What a joy to see many familiar faces, too.
It’s beautiful that Beatriz and Efrain get to spend the rest of their lives in love with each other!
