Throughout the past year, it has been an honor to work with a number of families… And from photographing past families to new families, I have enjoyed documenting these moments!
This year’s family session recap blog post is very near and dear to my heart as my business will be shifting in the new year! When I started this business out of my college dorm room in 2013, I never dreamed that it would lead me to where this business is today. This business is my passion and joy, and through the years it is an honor to serve you and yours through photography, our photo booth, and mentoring. I am truly thankful for YOU! None of this would be possible without your support of my business, and I am thankful that God has allowed me to serve you in this way through my work.
You might remember that in the beginning of my photography journey, I photographed everything under the sun – as many photographers start out. You name it – seniors, weddings, babies, families, boudoir, events, and more – I probably photographed it! And as I grew in my business, I started to refine my focus to only a few areas of photography – weddings, families, and corporate work. It has always been a true joy to let my passion lead me throughout this journey and business.
At the start of the 2019 season, I will be shifting my focus again to photograph only couples (weddings, engagements, and anniversary sessions), grow our fisheye photo booth, and mentor creatives. Year after year, I have loved photographing so many families, and while this is a bittersweet transition and I will no longer be offering family photography sessions in the new year, I am looking forward to what’s ahead!
So here’s a big THANK YOU to all of these families for trusting me to document their life seasons over this past year. It’s been a joy!
