This year’s fall mini sessions are officially in the books!
This fall, I had the honor of photographing eleven different sessions at my fall mini session date at Governor Small Memorial Park in Kankakee. I just love this park and walk the dogs there many times each week. It has gorgeous, mature trees, a column garden, and beautiful light… What more could a photographer ask for!
Would you believe me if I said that this year’s fall mini session date was 78 degrees outside?! Now, that warm weather did bring some crazy wind, but I still worked my fall photo magic. You can hardly tell from the photos that there were 25+ mph gusts of wind rolling through!
It was such an awesome day to meet up with so many familiar faces from over the years and to meet a few new faces, too! Everyone was amazing to work with and made my job easy as pie. And you know me – I always love to catch up with clients and friends at these sessions, too! The fall colors, leaves on the ground, and the warm fall day truly made for a great day for photos!
Enjoy a look at some favs from this year’s fall mini sessions in Kankakee.
P.S. – Stay tuned for our holiday mini sessions at Studio 388 coming up this winter!
