In today’s day and age, we all have to admit that technology plays a huge role in keeping all of us connected and “plugged in”.
Day after day, I see technology impacting my business, helping me reach more of my people, and ultimately, aiding me in the growth of my business. With this, I have found that it is so important to… Embrace technology!
You see, when I started this business in 2013, I probably wouldn’t have guessed that the majority of my wedding consults would need to take place via a phone call or video call, but I love the ease of accessibility. No matter where my couples are, or where I am, we can connect!
Last night, I had what I like to call a “FaceTime date” with one of my 2017 couples. I met them at a bridal show in January, we clicked, and they booked my services via phone calls and emails following the bridal show. Yes, we’ve met, talked, and I will get to know them even more at their engagement session, but I always love setting aside time to be more intentional and to get to know my couples on a deeper level.
Like I said, I never would have guessed that technology and tools like FaceTime would be one of the key factors to how I connect with my couples, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I’m building genuine relationships and truly loving one bride and groom at a time.
So, my advice?… FaceTime your photographer!
