This was the most perfect winter wedding day… And Erin and Drew’s January wedding day marked the start of our 2018 season!
These two met when they were very young and even have a photo standing next to each other when they were in preschool. As these two grew up, they became high school sweethearts and their love grew. After dating for several years after high school, Drew proposed to Erin on Christmas Eve in 2016. Drew planned the proposal at this parent’s land that day because he always knew it would be a place they could go back and visit and relive the memory… How thoughtful and meaningful!
I first connected with these two after their engagement, and we started planning their engagement session along with the photography aspects of their upcoming wedding day – what joy! Erin and Drew are so laid-back, kind, and easy going. They are the kind of people that you simply enjoy being around because they are just good people. I love them! These two love spending time with their family and friends, and they’re obsessed with their puppy Wrigley (you probably remember him from their engagement session!). Of course, I am totally obsessed with their pup, too! I still wish we could have taken a few wedding photos with him 🙂
The morning of Erin and Drew’s wedding day brought a little dusting of snow, and it was so perfect for this chilly (15 degree!) wedding day. This wedding day truly started out on such a high note, but things just kept getting better as everyone was so excited for these two to finally be married after 10 years of dating! The ladies were so relaxed all morning, and their glam team – Jessica, Brittany, and Brianne – was AMAZING! Love those girlbosses!
As the day rolled on, Erin and Drew shared a sweet first look at their venue – Town and Country Events – in Milford, and then we moved into bridal party photos in the same place. This was my first T&C wedding, and I just love this venue. The style of the venue was perfectly fitting with Erin’s burgundy, gold, and navy wedding style. The glam plus rustic details were GORGEOUS. And we absolutely loved staying out of the cold as long as we could with photos at T&C. Before we knew it, we spent 15 very quick minutes outside for a few fun bridal party and bride and groom photos, and then it was off to the ceremony. WEDDING TIME!
I loved their sweet late afternoon ceremony where Erin and Drew were surrounded by their loved ones from near and far. You could truly feel the love in the room for these two! And soon enough, it was time to celebrate. If I could sum up this wedding day in just a few words, they would be… Family, friends, and FUN. Erin and Drew’s wedding day was full of fun, and the love that they share for all of their favorite people in their life together!
