There’s no better way to say this other than that I LOVE and cherish my couples dearly. Each and every couple is unique and amazing and kind and wonderful in their very own ways. Emma and Noah are no exception!
I think it was just a few days after Emma saw a sneak peek of their wedding photos last June that she texted me and started asking about booking an anniversary session. And let me tell you that this made my heart swell with immense JOY. These are my people, and it was such a blessing after photographing their wedding day to already know that they were excited about their next opportunity at having photos taken and spending time together! So, so sweet.
As their first anniversary started to approach, we scheduled their session for just a couple weeks before their wedding anniversary. I cannot tell you how much I loved working with these two yet again, and I even got to meet and love on their two pups. You better bet I was in heaven! And the weather and light and location of this session were the icing on the cake. Oh, and my excited energy even got some hilarious laughs out of Emma and Noah when I swatted at a bug so quickly that I knocked my glasses off of my head and into the tall grass I was standing in… Friends, I promise to always keep your time with me interesting!
Anniversary sessions are quickly becoming one of my very favorite types of sessions because I think marriage should be celebrated. Whether it’s your first wedding anniversary, your 17th, or your 50th… Celebrate your love, your story, and those beautiful years of marriage. I have such a tender heart for sharing these moments with my couples and encouraging them in their married days. Marriage isn’t always cupcakes and sunshine, but it doesn’t get much sweeter than sharing your days with your best friend.
Highlight of this session for me? When these two sweeties asked for an iPhone photo with me at the end of the session… Be right back, crying happy tears! Love these photos and the two people (and pups!) in them!
