Meet Bre and Sean! We met up a couple of weeks ago for their fall engagement photos in Crown Point, Indiana and had a blast!

Their story goes back to meeting in college. Sean’s sister was in Bre’s nursing class. She told Bre that they would be perfect for each other, and the rest is history! In summer 2020, Sean surprised Bre with her dream proposal. Bre’s best friend helped Sean plan everything. Her friend and their family offered to take Bre on a boat ride to the Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake at sunset. When they arrived at the restaurant, they went upstairs to the terrace and Bre saw Sean surrounded by rose petals, candles, and one of her favorite songs playing. Then, Sean got on one knee and asked “will you spend the rest of your life with me?” Of course, Bre said “YES!”

Now, they’re planning their September 2022 wedding day! I first met Bre and Sean last fall at Colleen and Joel’s wedding. Bre and Joel are siblings, and Bre and Sean were both members of the wedding party – love it! Since adding Bre and Sean’s wedding day to my calendar this past winter, we’ve been getting more and more excited for their engagement photos and upcoming wedding day.

For their engagement photos, Bre and Sean chose downtown Crown Point. It’s the place they call home. They love downtown Crown Point and find themselves enjoying all it has to offer often. We were thankful for the most beautiful September evening and some fall color peeking out for their session, too!

I love how down-to-earth and easy-going this couple is – especially in front of the camera! They were a dream to work with. I also just loved catching up with these two and exploring downtown Crown Point. Honestly, it was a photographer’s urban dream with fun textures and photo spots everywhere!
