Now, what about choosing your something blue?
So many brides love to follow the saying I wrote about last week… Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. And for good reason! This is a wonderful and fun tradition!
Choosing your something blue is, in my opinion, one of the more unique parts of following this traditional saying for your wedding day. Sometimes brides will wear a piece of jewelry (ring, earrings, necklace, bracelet, etc.) with a blue stone, baby blue shoes, and I’ve even seen a bride include a sewn heart of her grandfather’s blue shirt on her wedding dress.
All of these “something blues” are beautiful, and another way to make your wedding day details more meaningful. Just think of the stories you will be able to tell to your bridesmaids on your wedding day, your friends and family while looking back at your wedding photos, and even your children someday when they flip through your wedding album… Choosing your something blue is a tradition to be remembered!
