Friends, I love this couple so!
Brittany and Braden are truly the best – they are kind, compassionate, and super fun to be around. Brittany is a soon-to-be veterinarian (eeek!), and Braden is a firefighter… So you can bet that we totally have a love for animals, and dogs in particular! Wait until you see photos with their pup Wrigley. Heart eyes!
On the day of their first engagement session (yep – first!), Brittany and I were watching the weather ALL. DAY. LONG. We were crossing our fingers and toes and anything else we could with hopes and prayers of good weather for our evening session. You see, these two are so successful and awesome that they are busy people, so schedules can get a bit nutty. But we were bound to spend time together and produce amazing photos during this special time in their relationship together! So anyway, I’m sure you can guess – we decided to go for it, thinking the Champaign area was on the edge of a storm system, and ended up getting rained out after our first location… The firehouse Braden works at in Savoy!
But let me tell you, those firehouse photos are a dream! We ducked inside from the rain, and the cozy firehouse vibes were totally there – I love those photos. And so, in July, we had part two of their session in Bourbonnais closer to where these two grew up! You guys, you better bet God pulled out all the stops for us this evening with a nearly 0% chance of rain, and the most beautiful sunset. We were (and are still) thankful!
I’m so grateful that I connected with these two and have the chance to continue to get to know them before their wedding day next spring!
