She’s back… My sweet niece Pix!

I’m sure you remember this cutie from her newborn and six month photos throughout the past year, and today, I am THRILLED to share her one year photo session with my blog readers. It’s been a wonderful year of watching this little lady grow and explore. And I’ll never forget the moment of sitting in the waiting room and hearing the news – “It’s a girl!” We are so grateful to have this girl in our lives.

For this session, Pix sported her adorable tutu tulle skirt and her adorable ponytail. Funny story – her mama tried the ponytail thing a couple of times and had no luck, so when they visited back in February, I told her when they visited I would try. I mean, I grew up in a family of girls, so ponytails are no big deal. And that was how Auntie Kara ended up giving Pix her first adorable ponytail. Now she sports them almost everyday… The cuteness!

I loved photographing Pix at this fun stage where she is crawling like CRAZY, standing on her own, starting to take her first steps, and of course, giggling up a storm at her silly Uncle Kyle. Our time with this girl is cherished and sweet!
