Travis graduated from Milford High School – the high school Kyle and I graduated from, too – and now, his fiancé Alyson is a teacher at MHS! It’s crazy how things come full circle in this “small world”, especially because I am honored to be their wedding photographer 🙂

These two met through a mutual friend after Alyson started teaching in Milford. Alyson said he was such a gentleman and his kind heart won her after at the start… That’s how it all started, and now they’ve been together for two years! And when Travis couldn’t keep the surprise any longer, he proposed to Alyson this past spring just before their second dating anniversary – so sweet!

Over the past few months, I’ve enjoyed getting to know these two better and helping them plan their engagement session. I loved showing them some of my favorite spots in the Kankakee area for their session, and I think they loved them, too! We even ran into one of my best photog friends during their session… How fun!

I’m looking forward to Alyson + Travis’s wedding day next May!
