I really enjoy photographing local fair queens! It is so fun to see them all glammed up and wearing their crowns and sashes for photos!
Ashley and I met the day we moved to Illinois College our freshman year. We have kept in touch and spend time together when we can. So, this summer we attended a couple local fair queen pageants together – they are fun to watch! I was so excited when Ashley asked me to take queen photos for her this November. She is the Miss Mason County Fair Queen 2014.
This fair queen photography session took place on the Illinois College campus in 27 degree weather, but she was a champ! I don’t think that the cold even bothered her and I was the one all bundled up 😉 Throughout her session, we moved around campus capturing brick, trees, and gorgeous sunsetting light. I am thrilled with the outcome of these photos!
