I met Geri during the first few months at an old part-time job. This was over a year ago and I am so thankful that Geri had me in mind for their family photo session! 

Moving to Jacksonville, Illinois for college has been a blessing because it has allowed me to expand my business By Kara Photo and get an education. Networking on and off campus has proven to be so beneficial for me, and I love connecting and getting to know people in the Jacksonville community. It’s fun to meet new people! As I’ve said before, I travel often for photo sessions because when I originally opened the business, I opened it back in Sheldon, Illinois – that’s three hours away, I wouldn’t trade the opportunities to capture love and life for anything. I don’t mind traveling at all… It keeps life interesting!

We had a cold morning, and I’m sure little Drake could tell you that! They all toughed out the cold and windy weather, and we ended up with some beautiful fall morning photos. With it being November, the weather can be quite chilly at times, but the colors are still vibrant and beautiful, so it is so worth having photos during this time!

Austin, Geri, & Drake – I am so happy I could capture your family and I hope to do it again someday! Thank you!
